Camp DASH: A place to grow, learn, and be empowered
The Hazard Reduction and Recovery Center (HRRC) hosts Camp DASH, which educates the next generation who will protect our gulf-coast and advocate for hazard resilience.

Camp DASH is a four-day experience for high school students to explore different hazards and collect real data for disaster solutions while exploring the Texas A&M University campus. We engage high school students (age 15-18), mostly from Texas coastal communities that are highly exposed to natural and industrial hazards. Students live on campus and learn about Texas A&M and why it is so special to be an Aggie.

Camp DASH was developed by pilot funding from the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine's Gulf Research Program, in partnership with Charity Productions Inc.
