The College of Engineering at Texas A&M University has secured the No. 1 spot in fiscal year 2023 engineering research expenditures with $444.7 million in spending, according to the rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report 2024-2025 Best Engineering Graduate Schools Rankings.
Project Notes
Needs Identification: Several individuals at the workshop raised the need for issues identification. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension’s Texas Community Futures Forum facilitates needs identification among community members across the state. As AgriLife Extension notes, “Our ability to meet educational needs depends on knowing what citizens see as their issues that impact their lives. There is no way to know the answers to these questions unless they are asked.” Because our extension colleagues have faculty in county offices and regional centers across the state, they can convene community members, service agencies, and other organizations to discuss their local needs. The 2024 TCFF Issue Report is available at https://tcff.tamu.edu/. The report can be filtered and downloaded as a CSV file.
Thanks again for being part of this event, and we look forward to staying in touch!
